We're changing Jack's goals from last year, as he's been reading books that are even longer than A.J. sometimes! For every 10 books that Jack reads on his own, he will earn an extra $5 in his allowance.

Jack's typically reading longer, more difficult books now, so I've lowered his his numbers a bit since last year. This year, for every 15 books that Jack reads on his own, he will earn an extra $5 in his allowance.

JACK HAS READ 200 BOOKS THIS YEAR!He's had lulls here and there, and he's had months where he just goes crazy with reading. His skill level is amazing, and we couldn't be prouder of his progress over the summer months! He received a progress report home on Thursday, and ( Read more... )

For every 25 books that Jack reads on his own, he will earn an extra $5 in his allowance. He's excited for this adventure, and I'm stoked that he is reading so very, very well!
